An initial comprehensive dental examination includes taking intra-oral x-rays of your teeth to search for hidden decay, and a full mouth extra-oral x-rays that will allow us to examine your entire jaws in greater detail to detect possible pathologies or anomalies.  The great benefit of X-rays is to allow to get ahead of problems that might be impossible to detect and treat otherwise. The recommendation is to take them every two years.
